I did not have an issue with the size of the pendant. The platinum inside glitters nicely, but not too much. The 18" cord was too small for me, but that was an easy fix with a longer sterling chain that I ordered from Amazon (of course)! I have gotten many compliments on this necklace and it's now one of my favorite now to wear when I am wearing blue.

This was a birthday present from a friend of mine, and I love it! I like that it's not too big, and the silk cord is a little bit unusual. It's just gorgeous.

When I ordered one of these I did not check the size. It is 35mm by 30mm. For comparison, a quarter is 25mm across. I was surprised by how small it was when I opened it. That is my fault for not checking.
It is, however, quite pretty. When I saw it on gold box I thought I would get this review up so you can decide if the size is worth the price for you.

I bought this when it was on a gold box discount and still couldn't bring myself to keep it. There is hardly any blue that is visible in this pendant due to the overabundance of platinum leaf inside. If you are looking to purchase because of the blue color then don't. It could be that you take your chances as I guess they are not all the same and have variations. It is a good size pendant however. I couldn't get a replacement because not sold by amazon. I was going to give it one more try to see if the next one would have better color. If you don't like it though, Amazon gives you 100% credit and they take care of the return shipping if you select "not as pictured". Good luck if you decide to take a chance.
